Who handles your data

acnefacescan.com operates as a standalone website and is itself responsible for the data described below. Send any privacy question to privacy@acnefacescan.com.

What this site records

Where statistics go

Your browser posts visit statistics to /api/notice on this site. From there they are passed to an analytics provider (EU), which stores them inside the European Union. Your IP address is included so an approximate country can be derived. A random code in session storage groups the pages of one visit and is deleted when the tab closes, so separate visits stay unlinked. No cookies are set for statistics. Visitors in the EU are counted only after they choose "Allow".

Leaving for the face scan

"Start my analysis" and similar buttons go through acnefacescan.com/face-check and then on to acne.today, a separate paid service. That step tells acne.today which page and button you came from, plus the photo check result if you used it. Any photo, answer or payment you give acne.today is covered by its own privacy policy, not this one.
